Customer Service Associate
As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing assistance and ensuring a positive experience. The ideal candidate will exercise independent judgement to plan, organize, and prioritize workload. Ideal for someone who is dependable, people oriented, and detail oriented.
Previous experience in an auto dealership environment a plus!
We are a small, family owned air-conditioned autobody repair shop that focuses on quality work and customer service.
Qualifications:
- 2 years prior experience in office environment providing customer experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to handle confidential information and situation discreetly
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, professional phone skills, organized, self-starter, able to set priorities and meet deadlines, able to multitask, carefully proof own work and others with great attention to detail.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service, both internal and external
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong initiative, positive energy and a pleasant demeanor.
- Team player, able to follow direction and be punctual.
- Works well independently.
- Professional appearance.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions
- Ability to pass a criminal back-ground check and drug test.

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person
- Assist customers with questions
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Providing adequate and accurate vehicle repair information to customers and insurance representatives in a professional manner
- Process all repair order paperwork as needed
- Proactively address concerns if needed
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Communicates consistently with shop manager and reports activity to them
- Monitors incoming payments for completed repairs
- Sort and distribute mail
- Prepare communications if needed, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
