Description
Duties:
- Prep items for painting, to include masking, and sanding
- Apply primers or sealers to prepare surfaces, such as bare wood, metal, piping, fixtures, structures and equipment for finish coats
- Disassembles paint and sandblasting equipment and cleans equipment, using solvent, wire brushes, and dry cloth.
- Erect scaffolding and swing gates, or set up ladders, to work above ground level
- Performs basic daily maintenance and cleaning
- Keep area clean so nothing interferes with the paint application
- Keep track of inventory and alert others when stock is getting low
- Complete projects in a timely manner
- Available for overtime and work on weekends as needed
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules
- Other duties may be assigned by a manager or supervisor.
