Senior Facilities Technician

Compensation : $30.00 - $35.00 / hour
Description
This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility support equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains machinery, repairs and diagnoses electrical and mechanical systems.
Reads and interprets various electrical and mechanical system manuals used for machinery repair.
Install, connect and diagnose various systems.
Knowledge in machinery relative to punch / heated forming presses, glue dispensing, tape casting, compressors, etc.
Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas
Assures that equipment is being maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner and down time is reduced to a minimum.
Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Performs unscheduled maintenance during production on equipment.
Works independently or with a team on troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
2 year technical degree or 3 years of experience maintaining electrical and mechanical systems
Experience with using software on manufacturing equipment preferred.
Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working / extending overhead.
Proficient computer skills
Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems.
Must be able to operate forklift, scissors and boom lifts up to 40 feet in height.
Be able to understand and read schematics.
Be able to have programmable logic and understand electrical circuits.
Physical Requirements :
- Be able to lift 30-40 lbs.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting hourly pay for this role is targeted to be between $30.00 to $35.00.
