Location: Onsite, Dallas Office - 2555 Regent Blvd, Dallas, TX
Reports to: Remote Support Manager

Standard Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Central Time (start/end times may vary depending on region/time zone coverage); rotational On-Call with some evenings and weekends
FLSA Status: Exempt/Salary
Compensation: $75K and 90K
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responds to and returns calls from customers, both external and internal, regarding electrical and electronic inquiries.
- Assists customers and technical staff in identifying and sourcing defective and replacement parts.
- Listens to customer concerns attentively, seeks to fully understand their issues, and asks relevant questions to gather necessary information for resolution and support.
- Conducts research and analysis of equipment errors to identify potential causes.
- Evaluates how changes in conditions, operations, and environment impact equipment functionality.
- Collaborates with engineers, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to discuss and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and/or computer hardware/software issues related to company equipment.
- Maintains detailed documentation of technical procedures and interactions.
- Programs and configures electronic modules and computers as required.
- Monitors and follows up on outstanding issues in coordination with relevant parties.
- Communicates complex technical information and solutions to customers with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Occasionally works on customer sites (approximately 10% or less) to address and resolve technical issues.
- Ensures the appropriate handling of confidential company information and documentation.
- Performs additional related responsibilities as needed to meet business requirements.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, coupled with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience within the printing industry. Candidates possessing an Associate's Degree or other applicable technical certifications may be considered if they have at least 8 years of related work experience in the printing industry. Extensive industry experience (10 years) may be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated experience with industrial equipment is preferred, along with a strong understanding of printing equipment, processes, and the industry as a whole.
- The position requires extensive travel, exceeding 75% international and domestic travel during the initial 1-2 years of employment, with an expectation of approximately 15% travel thereafter.
- Experience with various software tools relevant to the printing industry is essential.
- Relevant experience may be acquired concurrently during employment.
