Essential Job Functions and Duties: The SAP & Inventory Specialist at Kolon Tissue Gene plays a pivotal role in implementing and managing SAP Material Management modules for procurement and inventory management, and other applicable SAP modules as necessary. Responsibilities include:
SAP Implementation and Utilization:
- Configure and maintain SAP MM modules to optimize procurement processes and ensure efficient inventory management.
- Collaborate on procurement strategies, manage purchase requisitions, orders, vendor coordination, and inventory records in SAP MM.
- Implement warehouse management best practices and optimize storage solutions.
- Utilize SAP MM for inventory control, including MRP, inventory optimization, and stock replenishment.
- Develop and deliver SAP MM training, identify process improvements, and participate in system enhancements.
- Play an active role in implementing other SAP modules such as Sales and Distribution, Production and Planning, and Costing per agreed timelines.
Inventory Management:
- Handle stockroom services, manage laboratory supplies, coordinate R&D replenishment, and ensure proper storage protocols.
- Maintain cryogenic cell inventory and conduct audits for safety and compliance.
- Develop SOPs and organizational plans to document operations.
Budget Management:
- Assist in developing supply budgets, provide purchasing reports, and manage invoice tracking and documentation.
- Generate SAP MM reports for procurement activities, inventory status, and expenditure analysis.
Laboratory Support:
- Coordinate internal approvals, manage equipment calibration, maintain utility supplies, and oversee global shipments.
Miscellaneous:
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of an associate degree in a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM modules for procurement and inventory control, preferably in the life sciences industry.
- Exposure to implementing/working on other SAP modules such as Sales and Distribution, Production and Planning, and Costing is a plus.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective collaborator across cross-functional teams.
- Experience in SAP MM training and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory management and customer service.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented problem solver adept at working independently.
