Essential Key Functions and Accountabilities: (Responsibilities and major tasks performed)
Lead and manage the manufacturing launch of new products for our customers. These
customers include Caterpillar, Volvo Truck Group, Trane HVAC, John Deere, and many
other leaders in their industry.
Create and manage the project budget and timeline.
Communicate project status with our customers, maintaining trust, confidence, and the
NSC reputation as a best-in-class supplier.
Communicate project status internally to stakeholders, cross-functional team members,
and to NSC leadership at each milestone of the New Product Introduction process.
Proactively identify and resolve project risks. These risks may be very technical in nature
or also risks to product cost, safety, or project timing.
Engineer and launch new manufacturing processes to make parts fully and consistently to
print specifications.
Create all engineering data and documents to support the new manufacturing processes.
This includes the following: Drawings, Bills-of-Material, Routings, Standard Rates,
Process FMEA, Work Instructions, and Quality Control Plans.
Collaborate with Tooling Engineers and Designers to design, build, and validate the
tooling and quality control gauges required for your projects.
Identify and lead continuous improvement projects.
Occasionally lead projects to choose and develop brand new manufacturing technologies
or processes to further the business growth of NSC.

Experience and Education Required:
BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Direct manufacturing experience sufficient to gain the necessary skills above
Project Management experience
Working Conditions:
In-Office Position – Occasionally Remote by Exception

Travel up to 20%
