About The Role
The Analyst will join the corporate credit team to support new private credit investment underwriting and portfolio management, with occasional responsibilities in public credit. This position is ideal for a motivated professional eager to learn the fundamentals of credit analysis and portfolio management, with the opportunity to provide valuable support to the team while developing their own investment skills. The Analyst will be an integral member of the team, collaborating with senior members to underwrite new investment opportunities, grow deal structuring capabilities, conduct portfolio surveillance, and support the management of a fast-growing private credit-focused portfolio. Target markets include sports, media, and entertainment; non-bank financials (BDCs, NAV loans, CFOs); and other strategies managed by Kuvare Strategic Investments. The Analyst will develop skills in investment due diligence, deal structuring and will have opportunity to support new investments from inception to maturity. The Analyst will be a core member of a high-performing private corporate credit investment team and will have significant professional growth opportunities in a supportive, collaborative, and dynamic organization. The Analyst will be based in New York with a hybrid setup, requiring in-office presence twice a week.

What You'll Do
- Exhibit high attention to detail and discipline to produce error free and properly formatted work on a consistent basis with minimal oversight
- Support the analysis of new credit investments and transaction execution, including diligence, underwriting and surveillance
- Contribute to identifying and evaluating the risks and merits of new private credit investment opportunities under team guidance
- Assist with capital structure and relative value analysis
- Build industry knowledge in areas of focus including sports/media/entertainment, non-bank financial (e.g. BDCs, NAV loans), and other segments of private markets
- Learn the principles of investing for regulated insurance companies, including new developments within the various industry rule-making bodies
- Help monitor the performance of existing portfolio (both public and private investments), as it continues to expand
- Monitor public corporate bond markets on an as needed basis
- Assist in preparing presentations and other materials for both internal and external clients
- Work on specific tasks or group projects including industry research, presentations, and portfolio analysis
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including asset allocation, operations, legal, accounting, and technology
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, including internship or prior exposure to credit investing, corporate finance or capital markets
- Bachelor’s degree with a record of strong academic performance
- Strong results orientation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Intrinsically motivated, ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to multi-task and manage several projects at a time
- Embraces idea of investing as a “team sport”, is highly collaborative with ability to drive to consensus
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Bloomberg
- Normal office working environment
- Occasional evening and weekend hours to meet deadlines
- Occasional travel is required
- Ability to type / perform data entry
