What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Specialist position at KW Property Management?
This position is responsible for the installation, programming, operating and maintenance of irrigation systems at the property. They provide system recommendations to fit the needs of the property, golf courses, landscaping, etc. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment utilized in water distribution systems and utilized to operate numerous irrigation systems located throughout the property.

· Maintains all phases of irrigation systems including pumps, motors, valves, hydraulics, mechanical components, electronic zone controllers, sprinkler heads, and all related pipes in city parks.
· Maintains 3-phase control panels consisting of contactors, motor control protectors, delay timers, flow meters and hydraulic pressure control valves.
· Keeps log books of all activities for each system.
· Adjusts, repairs and replaces all components associated with decorative floating aerator fountains.
· Works with related tradespersons in the installation and modification of various size irrigation systems.
· Monitors systems daily and makes necessary adjustments as needed to ensure proper turf control.
· Performs other related duties as required.
This job operates outdoors and will be exposed to outdoor climate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work long periods of time outdoors and must be able to stand for long periods of time. The employee must be able to work in and around various landscaping settings including direct contact with various plant and landscaping materials and exposure to various dust, noise, and weather conditions.
The employee will be required lift/move equipment and objects up to 25 lbs and on occasion 50 lbs.

This is a non-exempt (hourly) position and the schedule will be determined by the property. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the company
No travel required. The job will be performed at the property
· High School diploma or its equivalent
· Previous work experience in Irrigation, 3-5 years
· Valid FL driver’s license
