The IT Application Business Support Manager works under the guidance of the IT Americas Manager and Regional IT Manager as the primary contact for the ERP SAP and other applications in the Americas region. This role is responsible for supporting the evolution of the application map based on regional needs and ensuring the smooth operation and enhancement of IT applications.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Accomplishes information technology staff results by means of setting targets, competence analysis, plans, measuring progress.
· Liaise with business users and stakeholders in the Americas region to understand their requirements and expectations for the ERP SAP and other applications.
· Coordinate the activities of the IT application team, including specialists and external vendors, to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions.
· Provide support and guidance on the functionalities and best practices of ERP SAP and other applications, including resolving issues or incidents that may arise.
· Collaborate with the Group IT Application Manager and Regional IT Manager to align IT application strategies and roadmaps with global and regional objectives and priorities.
· Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, or enhancements that can improve the performance, usability, or security of ERP SAP and other applications.
· Document and maintain IT application standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
· 3-5 years of experience managing teams, develops personal growth opportunities.
· Proven experience in coordinating process enhancement and optimization projects based on SAP and other applications.
· Strong knowledge of SAP (especially PP, WM, MM modules) and integration with key applications supporting manufacturing processes.
· Over 10 years of professional experience in a similar role.
· Native English speaker.
Preferred:
· SAP ABAP comprehension.
· Manufacturing expertise.
· Spanish language proficiency.
· Experience in project management and leadership in software development/support.
