L & S is looking for an Electic Motor Disassembler. We are seeking a self-motivated professional that has excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, communication skills, and is able to work well in a team environment.
2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour, Monday-Thursday, 2pm- 12:00am (Midnight), off Friday!
Responsibilities:
- Work with other employees to complete general project needs.
- Refurbish and repair a variety of rotating electrical apparatus.
- Able to read job cards to determine job status and work to be performed.
- Disassemble incoming electrical apparatus.
- Perform and record incoming visual and electrical inspections.
- Safely operate and understand a variety of test equipment.
- Assist with assembly of electrical apparatus under the guidance of more senior crafts-person.
- Additional training with higher level employee’s in other functions of department.
Requirements:
- Able to provide basic hand tools needed for the position.
- Able to wear PPE require for position, as needed.
- Able to perform fine detail work with hands.
- Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Able to work for any employer in the United States.
- Able to work overtime as needed and in the field at client sites.
Preferred:
- Electrical and mechanical background.
Physical demands:
- Occasional lifting of heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
- Extended periods of standing and/or bending.
- Computer literate.
