Duties/Responsibilities
The psychiatric clinician’s primary role is to provide therapeutic interventions to patients, including psychotropic medication management, psychosocial rehabilitation, skill building, linkage to community resources, rapport building, and relapse prevention planning.
As part of the multidisciplinary team, the psychiatric clinician will:
Engage with clients in various settings, including clinic and community based
Conduct psychoeducational sessions in both individual and group settings, when applicable.
Collaborate with other team members to improve patient symptomology
Participate in treatment team meetings
Complete treatment planning and treatment plan reviews
Complete all clinical documentation within appropriate time frames
Utilize effective time management to ensure achievement of weekly goals and expectations.
Required Skills:
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to engage professionally with clientele, staff, and external collaborators
Ability to utilize evidence-based practices
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Product Suite
Schedule:
M-Th 9am-6pm; Fri. 8a-5pm IN PERSON ROLE
Requirements/Qualifications:
Be able to work in the community and commute to Downtown Dallas
Must be able to transport clients to/from appointments
Minimum Education Requirement :
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related human services field.
Reliable transportation
Current Driver’s License
Licenses and Certifications:
QMHP ; LCDC-I, LCDC; LPC-A, LPC, LMSW encouraged to apply
