L'Artisane Bakery & Bistro is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista Leader to join our team. We pride ourselves on serving exceptional coffee and providing outstanding customer service in a warm and welcoming environment. As a Barista Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee shop and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as pastries and other menu items, according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and making personalized beverage recommendations based on their preferences.
• Train and mentor new and existing baristas, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels and placing orders as necessary.
• Assist in the daily operation of the coffee shop, resolving any issues that may arise and stepping in to support other team members as needed.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a barista, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of coffee and tea brewing techniques, as well as a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and effectively lead a team.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash handling skills, with experience using point-of-sale systems.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00 - $24.00/hour.
