Founded in 1980, La Perla Tapatia is a chain of Mexican grocery stores in the Central Valley with over 40 years of existence. It is a family-owned business specializing in Mexican products like warm, homemade tortillas and a variety of fresh Mexican pastries baked daily, as well as authentic food from various regions of Mexico.
We are currently looking for a POS Clerk to service our Hughson and Ceres locations. The position will be part time. Variable schedule with 25-30 hours per week. Must have own transportation.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Customer Service
- Grocery Aisle Maintenance
Skills Needed:
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Ability to work well independently
- Bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish)
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for putting up and taking off price tags & signs
- Responsible for printing price tags and signs
- Responsible for hanging price change tags
- Responsible for hanging ad signs
- Responsible for putting up shippers
- Responsible for light cleaning of shelves
- Responsible for pricing integrity; makes sure the POS Manager knows about price discrepancies and that everything at store level has a price on the product.
- Responsible for driving between 2 store locations (Hughson & Ceres) (Mileage will be reimbursed at going rate).
Physical Requirements:
- Standing 6 hrs
- Walking 4-6 hrs
- Sitting 1 hr
- Bending 1 hr
- Lifiting, up to 15 lbs
