Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of cleanliness and comfort during their stay. As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff, creating schedules, and ensuring that all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Respond to guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment for all staff and guests
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff at all levels
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be willing to relocate or live in Laredo, Texas.
