La Tropicana Food Market is currently accepting applications for part time cashiers at its Smyrna DE location.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
· Process sales transactions
· Accept payments
· Calculate and return change when required by the payment method
· Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change as needed
· Answer customer questions about products or services
· Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
· Report issues with equipment
· Work as a team to meet store sales goals
· Handle customer complaints
· Maintain clean and tidy checkout area
· Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise
· Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
· Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements and product information
· Receive customers and assist them with the selection of merchandise and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention
· Display and organize products in a store for the customers to locate easily
· Perform product packaging duties
· Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting, cleaning and restocking merchandise on the shelves
· Perform other duties as business needs demand
