What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Automotive Service Advisor position at Lake Auto Group?
We've expanded our Service Departments! Lake Chevrolet now has 41 service hoists and Lake Ford has 46...we have the techs, we have the customers, but we need more Service Advisors!
Both of our service departments are brand new and have the latest technology and the newest equipment to serve our growing customer base! The growth in our Service Departments presents a great opportunity for anyone who loves to interact with customers! This ideal candidate will assist the service department by greeting service customers, organizing the flow of traffic and vehicles, directing customers to appropriate areas, assisting in the pickup/delivery of fleet and customer vehicles, perform emissions tests, and basic shop clean up. The ideal candidate for this position is very friendly with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Must have clean driving record and be very responsible. This position requires frequent driving, entry/exit of vehicles, walking, and occasionally lifting heavy items. Retirees welcome.
You will consult with customers to determine the root cause of their vehicle needs, clearly documenting their concerns an a Repair Order and dispatching the vehicle to the proper technician. You and your team of technicians will also be performing routine maintenance, conducting vehicle inspections, initiating warranty claims, reviewing vehicle service history and obtaining customer approvals for authorized repairs. This is a great opportunity to showcase your customer service skills by building a loyal fan base of your own! Customers love to come back and see the same face again and again!

- The drive to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience in the automotive industry strongly preferred.
