Responsibilities
-Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Ability to take orders and deliver dishes to tables at a efficient and timely manner
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and food areas, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink and meal orders, and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
-Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.
Assist in setting up for special events such as private parties, including preparing drink stations and stocking supplies.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a nightclub, restaurant, or fine dining environment is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and cash registers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine pairings, and beverage trends is a plus.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
