Overview
We are seeking for dynamic and enthusiastic talent to join our team in a newly opended restaurant. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Toast POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Handle cash register transactions, including processing payments and managing cash flow.
- Assist with food handling and service during busy periods, including banquets or special events.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain quality standards.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and common areas.
- Support team members by helping with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems, particularly Toast POS is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures is beneficial for maintaining health standards.
- A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
