We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician I to join our team. The ideal candidate must be safety conscious, highly motivated and eager to learn as we provide extensive internal training.
Job Location: Hungerford, TX
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, install, repair, and Inspect plant equipment and systems, including piping, pumps, air compressors, cooling towers, boilers, gearboxes, and motors.
Maintain plant equipment on a frequent PM schedule.
Operation of machines including forklifts, telescopic handlers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and tractors.
Qualifications
Skill in operating a variety of tools, equipment, vehicles and trailers.
Mechanical, machine repair, electrical, and carpentry skills
Basic PC skills - Word, Outlook, Excel (Required)
Maintenance background: 2 years (Preferred)
Driver’s License (Required)
Position Hours/Shift:
1st shift hours Monday through Friday from 7:30-4:00 pm.
Must be open to working overtime if needed on Saturdays.
1 week per month on call schedule with 3 hour minimum pay.
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Steel toed shoes, FRC’s, Hardhat and Safety glasses are standard PPE.
Respirator fit testing will be required.
Occasional work at elevated heights.
