Summary:
The Admissions Consultant processes all leads for admission, serves as a Brand
Ambassador in explaining our program and benefits, and works aggressively to close leads,
increase census, and admit patients for treatment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Qualify leads by gathering clinical and insurance data to ensure appropriateness
- Serve as brand ambassador to potential patients by promoting program, highlighting key
- Verify insurance benefits and completes net pricing information to present to patients
- Work aggressively to close leads in a timely fashion to improve census
- Ensure out of pocket expenses are collected at time of admission or that acceptable
- Complete initial paperwork with admissions
- Communicate all admission information to appropriate staff
- Work with Administrator and, as appropriate, Director of Business Development to
- Track all leads and pre-admission information in CRM tool
- Compile marketing and admissions data in accordance with facility reporting guidelines
- Serve as “Admissions On Call” as assigned by supervisor
- Travel when necessary
- Pay for travel expenses with a personal credit card prior to travel, with reimbursement to
- Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervisor
