What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Associate position at Langham Logistics, Inc?
Summary
The Quality Associate contributes to meeting Langham goals of exceptional Client service, quality, process improvement, and profitability by performing the following tasks:
- Ensuring accurate shipping and receiving by performing QC checks on all incoming and outgoing materials
- Gathering all applicable information to determine if a shipment has a discrepancy
- Ensuring accurate inventory management by ensuring materials are dropped into deviation accurately
- Collaborate among departments on discrepancies or questions for deviating material
- Assisting the Quality Manager with projects
- Ensuring proper Client communication as it relates to Quality issues according to the SOPs and/or the Client Quality Agreement.
Evaluation of Performance
Performance will be evaluated based on meeting the requirements of the job description; meeting performance metrics and other quality indicators established for this position; working according to specifications, policies, and standards established by Langham; working effectively in a team environment; and providing a high level of internal and external Client service.
The Quality Associate is expected to operate according to all safety and security guidelines.

- Identify and report discrepancies between paperwork/orders and physical product delivered;
- Initiate and oversee quality records in QT9;
- Provide courteous, professional service to both internal and external Clients;
- Present a positive image Langham.

Experience and Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years’ experience in Quality Control or related field within a GMP facility
- Forklift experience a PLUS
Physical Demands
Physical movements including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily work routine. Will be working on concrete in a warehouse environment (subject to heat and cold).
Specific Client Requirements: Must be able to successfully pass eye, depth perception, and color vision eye exams.
Work Environment: Work is performed in a warehouse/office/external environment with multiple zones of varying temperature: frozen, refrigerated, controlled room temperature, and environmental.
