Job Highlights
The Senior Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the engineering and execution of capital investment projects of the South Arkansas manufacturing sites. This role will be responsible for all project phases from concept definition to design to execution and commissioning with successful realization of all project targets with regard to scope, budget, timeline, HSE and quality. Primary responsibilities include :
- Develop, specify and supervise all necessary activities to ensure the project goals are delivered in time to budget and quality in a safe manner and manage deviations from targets by setting and implementing suitable countermeasures.
- Develop and agree scope, budget and timeline according to the project requirements and manage all changes focusing on the project goals and taking business demands into account.
- Define resourcing strategy and supporting concept, specify roles, supervise implementation and manage all related stakeholders.
- Develop execution-, procurement- and construction strategy, ensure implementation of execution-, procurement- and construction concept and frequently challenge the efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with LANXESS Guideline RL-0036 utilization of the LANXESS-Project Management Standard throughout the project team.
- Ensure that all LANXESS internal and site interfaces are sufficiently managed.
