Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of the bank's AML and KYC programs.
- Assess adherence to regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct independent audits of AML processes.
- Develop and execute detailed audit plans.
- Identify control weaknesses, non-compliance issues, and areas of improvement.
- Recommend corrective actions and process enhancements.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Present findings to senior management and the audit committee.
- Partner with AML compliance teams, risk management, and other stakeholders.
- Provide advisory support on emerging AML risks and regulatory developments.
- Stay informed of evolving AML regulations.
- Enhance audit methodologies and tools.
