Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing complex processes and systems within our manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize engineering tools such as AutoCAD and Creo for designing layouts and tooling.
- Develop project schedules to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CNC operations and welding processes.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects, employing methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma to drive operational excellence.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, including quantum engineering applications, to assess potential impacts on production.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on new processes, tools, or technologies.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Degree in Robotics Engineering.
- Experience managing a complete ROI, Design, Procurement, programming, Build, Implementation, and Training.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Creo) and programming skills are highly desirable.
- Experience with CNC machinery and tooling design is preferred.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and methodologies.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement practices such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles is essential for ensuring product specifications are met.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
