We are working directly with a leading Labor & Employment firm seeking a motivated and skilled Labor & Employment Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their growing practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated attorney looking to grow within the Labor & Employment space with a dynamic team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and represent clients on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including workplace discrimination, wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Assist in the preparation and review of employment contracts, employee handbooks, and workplace policies.
- Draft and respond to legal pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Handle labor disputes and represent clients in administrative hearings and before regulatory agencies such as the EEOC, DOL, and NLRB.
- Provide strategic counsel on employee relations, workplace investigations, and internal complaints.
- Support and collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Florida.
- 2-4 years of experience in labor and employment law, including both litigation and counseling.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
