We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our company.

Position Summary:

The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm systems. This role requires technical expertise, knowledge of fire alarm systems, and a commitment to adhering to safety standards and local fire codes. The technician will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure fire alarm systems are fully operational, compliant, and able to detect and alert in case of fire emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, program, and test fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, pull stations, and notification devices.

· Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local fire codes.

· Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm system issues, ensuring timely resolution of malfunctions or deficiencies.

· Document inspection, testing, and maintenance activities, providing detailed service reports to clients and management.

· Ensure compliance with all fire protection codes and safety regulations during installation and servicing of fire alarm systems.

· Work closely with other trades, contractors, and customers to ensure coordinated and efficient installation of fire alarm systems on project sites.

· Conduct end-user training and provide demonstrations of fire alarm systems for clients.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that job sites are safe and follow company safety protocols.

· Stay up-to-date with advancements in fire alarm technology and applicable code changes.

Qualifications:

· 2 years of experience as a fire alarm technician, with a strong understanding of fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and repair.

· Familiarity with NFPA and local fire codes governing fire alarm systems.

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.

· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information to clients.

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

· Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

· NICET certification in fire alarm systems or equivalent.

· Experience with multiple fire alarm system manufacturers, including Honeywell, Siemens, or Notifier.

· OSHA 10 or 30-hour safety certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
