Reports to: Associate Executive Director
Supervises: Community Hab Manager, Community Living Specialist, Adult Recreation Staff
Location: 414 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse, NY
Full Time: Occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
Non-Exempt: $25-27 per hour

About the Role
Are you ready to make a lasting impact? LAUNCH is seeking a dedicated and proactive Director of Community Living to lead and shape our community habilitation, adult recreation, and housing subsidy programs. This pivotal role will allow you to drive meaningful change and provide valuable services that enhance the independence and growth of individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment and provide supervision to program staff
• Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and monitor all aspects of program documentation
• Track incidents and events, analyze data for patterns and improvement opportunities
• Coordinate participant satisfaction surveys and implement findings for program enhancements
• Offer ongoing guidance and instruction to staff to ensure exceptional quality of services for program participants

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Knowledge of OPWDD, Medicaid Regulations, and project outcome measurement is a plus
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Background check required

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communication, project management, and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to build positive relationships and adapt to evolving work demands
