The Stockroom / Shipping Clerk is responsible for backfilling production area with parts, inventory control for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials, parts, and finished products throughout the manufacturing facility.

Typical day in the life of a Stockroom Clerk:

• Managing inventory by stocking and organizing parts accurately.
• Accurately maintain ERP system, including all stock and inventory items.
• Performing quality checks on stored inventory and reporting discrepancies to Receiving/Shipping manager.
• Ensure that production lines have the necessary materials and supplies to maintain production flow
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that materials are stored in the correct location.
• Communicate effectively with other departments, such as shipping and receiving, to ensure that materials are delivered as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Additional duties may include:

• Schedule FedEx and UPS shipments.
• Pick and pack orders for shipping.
• Prepare pallets of completed orders.

The Ideal Candidate:

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Familiarity with material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
