Event supervisor

LAZ Parking is hiring Event Parking Supervisors!

The Spirit of the Position :

Our Event Parking Supervisor works fun and festive shifts. Positions include greeting, collecting parking payments and directing traffic and collecting parking payments, with two to three employees working together at a time.

Staff will interface with customers and need to present a cheery demeanor. You will be in charge if managing other Event Staff as their supervisor.

Location : Fishers, IN

Pay : $18 / hour

Schedule : Event-based, part-time

Principal Job Duties :

• Greet customers in a cheery manner and collect payments and provide paid ticket stubs to guests.
• Direct customers ahead to open stalls.
• Engage with customers if asked questions.
• Occasionally walk to count open spaces.
• Wear provided uniform which includes pants, shirt, jacket, and hat.
• Employees should wear their own comfortable outdoor shoes, an appropriate base layer, and warm gloves for the colder nights.
• Keeping other Event Staff employees on track, setting an example, managing any issues on site, marking attendance, and answering employee questions.

Education :

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience :

• Experience with cash handling.
• Experience in customer service
• Experience in Management

Skills :

• Strong Communicator
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.

• Must be able to work independently.
• Strong work ethic
• Reliability
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.

Physical Demands :

• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for several hours at a time
• Ability to work outdoors in cold weather
