We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ready to begin a career working with children with autism. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, is open to learning and being trained in our growing field.
Starting at $13.50 with higher rates available based on Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA) Therapy experience.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum.
- Receive support and supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Introduce and run Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs developed by BCBAs.
- Work with kids in one of our centers or in client homes with a focus on activities they naturally do (play!)
- Receive extensive training to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to create lasting change for our kids and their families.
This position is similar to the following position at other companies; Behavioral Technician, Behavior Technician, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), BCAT, Behavior Treatment Technician, ABA Tutor, Line Therapist, Behavior Interventionist, Instructor.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation or easily access public transportation
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask
- You must have experience working with children; nanny, childcare, teaching, camp counselor
