**Our Lally Early Learning Center is Hiring!!!**

Our Assistant Teacher helps with the planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate childcare program curriculum. Assistant Teachers provide a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on building achievement and belonging in youth and relationships among youth and within families.

****REQUIREMENTS** :**

* Must be 18 years of age.

* HS Diploma/GED required.

* One year experience working with children required.

* Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.

* Submission of NYS Medical Statement of Childcare Staff Form documenting physician clearance to work in a childcare setting as well as TB Test which meets Health and Social Service requirement.

* Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; CPR; First Aid; AED; Blood borne Pathogens to be completed within 30 days of hire.

* Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills. Basic knowledge of computers.

* Previous experience with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds.

**2 years:** Direct experience with children under age 13.

**Preferred**

**1 year:** Previous experience with diverse populations.

**1-2 years:** Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting.

**1 year:** Experience in a supervisory capacity.
