Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, dependable and skilled Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. The Crew Leader will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring quality control, and maintaining project schedules while adhering to safety standards. Plumbing industry experience a must! Bilingual a plus!
Duties
- Lead and manage a team of construction workers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize construction management software, including Prolog and Primavera, to track project progress and manage scheduling effectively.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Use tools such as an ohmmeter to perform necessary inspections and tests on pipeline installations.
- Collaborate with project managers to align team efforts with overall project goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all crew members.
- Must be able to read blueprints, has to have knowledge of codes, and has to be able to come up with own measurements.
Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the construction industry is essential.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as Primavera is preferred.
- Proficient in using construction management software like Prolog for effective project tracking.
- Understanding of pipeline systems and ability to read schematics is highly desirable.
- Experience with quality control processes in a construction setting is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage diverse teams effectively are required.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
- Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.
- Climbing stairs.
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Operating machinery and/or power tools.
- Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind.
- Noisy environment.
- Light to heavy work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects from 20-100 pounds.
