Lee Enterprises is searching for a full-stack, .NET developer to develop and help bring to market a new application suite using .NET framework languages and technologies. The application we have in mind will be a game changer for some industries. And we need your help to bring it to market. In this role, you’ll work directly with Product Managers, Project Managers and dedicated support staff in the product’s development, refinement, road mapping and ultimate deployment. This is a fully remote position, you can do what you love — write and debugging code. The ideal candidate and not only write functional code, but also have a keen eye for spotting and fixing defects. You should be a team player and have good communication skills — and not be afraid to speak up if you believe something’s wrong.If you are passionate about the .NET framework and software design/architecture, we’d like to meet you and get acquainted. Here’s what you bring to us:• A proven track record as a .NET Developer • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL and design/architectural patterns• Experience with AWS• Knowledge of .NET languages including C#, Visual Basic.NET, C /CLI along with HTML5 / CSS3• Familiarity with APIs such as REST and RPC• Agile mentality• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills• Attention to detail• The ability to write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages • Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture • Create and test software prototypes• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field• At least 5 years’ experience building and prototyping applicationsHere’s what we offer:• Fully remote position• Generous vacation and time away policy• Very competitive salary• Growth and advancement opportunities• True application development• A great team to work withAt Lee Enterprises, we look beyond a résumé and look at the person.
