Previous experience in bank operations or in any of the job functions listed below is highly valued, but not a requirement for consideration. Our operations department is the backbone of the institution supporting all our bank channels. You will be exposed to nearly every facet of what makes a bank run smoothly. Your actions and tasks will have a direct and immediate impact on the institution. You will work directly with our customers, our vendors, and our employees in every department. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist customers over the phone and in person with Debit Card transactions.
- Assist customers over the phone and in person with Online and Mobile Banking.
- Assist customers over the phone and in person with wire transfers.
- Assist tellers and other bank personnel with hardware and software issues.
- Prepare various board reports.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willing to learn and receive coaching
- Capacity to make independent decisions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Organized and accurate in work.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and remain cognizant of deadlines and schedules.
- Proven record for meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal savvy
- Ability to work well with customers, staff, vendors, and general public.
- Proven ability to develop relationships.
- Personable and professional manner.
- Above average oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Computer proficiency including Word and Excel.
