Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aCyber Security Summer Internto join theLNA Corporate Teamin West Hartford, CTforSummer 2025.The Cyber Security Intern is responsible for assisting the Information Security Director with many areas of the company’s information security program.
What Will You Do?
Review and update documentation for policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
Analyze and track remediation of system and application vulnerabilities across critical business systems
Provide compliance checking for security tools installations and configurations.
Research and evaluate applications and services for strategic improvements to security stack, detailing important features within each different application or service.
Work with the Incident Response team to discover, triage, and remediate security incidents.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education :
Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or other related area with good academic standing.
College Junior or higher preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Preferred working knowledge of EDR, DDoS, network detection and traffic monitoring tools.
Maintain good (digital) citizenship.
Must uphold, enforce, and abide by all company policies.
Strong writing and communication skills.
