General Labor

· Planting & Harvesting-assist with planting and harvesting of the crops throughout all stages. Help with harvesting crops when they are ready, ensuring the products are handled carefully to avoid damage.

· Field work- Prepare soil for planting by tilling, fertilizing, and irrigating fields. Maintain irrigation systems and ensure crops receive adequate amounts of water.

· Farm Equipment Operation & Maintenance- Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, plows, and harvesters. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on farms equipment and machinery.

· General Maintenance- Assist with repairs, building, or storage areas, and other farm structures. Help with pest control, including spraying for insects or diseases.

· Cleaning & Organization- Organize and maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in the farm workshop or storage areas.

· Record Keeping-Assist with inventory management for tools, equipment, and farm supplies.

· Physical Fitness- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

· Outdoor Work-Comfort with working outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).

· Attention to Detail- Ability to perform tasks with high level of precision, particularly when it comes to handling equipment and larger machinery.

· Teamwork-ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow instructions from supervisors.

· Basic Equipment Skills-Knowledge and willingness to learn new basic farm equipment and machinery.

· Communication skills-Ability to communicate effectively with farm management and other employees.

· Safety Awareness- Knowledge of safety practices related to farm work, GAP compliance, and handling of chemicals, and heavy machinery.

· HS Diploma, GED, or other general education preferred

· Experience in farm work or related agricultural fields.

· Familiarity with crop management

· Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a farm vehicle (truck, skid steer, tractor, etc.)

· Ability to stand for longer extended periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds.

· Work is performed primarily outdoors, and workers will be exposed to various weather conditions such as heat, rain, wind, snow.

· Work environment required immediate response to spontaneous customer demands

· Hours of operation will vary based on the demand of the farm operations.

· Farm Supervisor
