Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Customer Service Representative to join our team at Leo’s Market and Eatery on our second shift. As the face of our store, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store, assist them in finding products, and answer any questions they may have.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves, cleaning countertops, and ensuring merchandise displays are neat and well-presented.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with receiving and stocking shipments as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, security, and safety protocols.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous and professional manner, seeking resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Promote sales and upsell products by informing customers of current promotions, discounts, and special offers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and assist with tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using cash registers or POS systems.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
Physical Demands:
·Constantly standing, walking, reaching with hands & arms, using hands and fingers to handle & feel, and talking & hearing. Constantly lifting or exerting force up to five (5) pounds.
·Frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting & bending, tasting & smelling. Frequently lifting or exerting force up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
·Occasionally pushing, pulling, climbing, sitting and lifting. Occasionally lifting or exerting force up to fifty (50) pounds.
