Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our ICU/CCU team at LewisGale Hospital Pulaski. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our intensive care unit.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and develop effective plans of care.
- Provide comfort and prevent suffering through presence and attentiveness, including pain assessment and reassessment.
- Document patient information accurately and timely according to organizational policy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
