What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operating & Facility Assistant(3519) Ambulatory Surgery Center position at Lexington Clinic?
SUMMARY:
The ESC Operating and Facility Assistant functions as a supporting member of the ESC team by performing various tasks which include limited patient care, environmental maintenance, assistance with material management, and a variety of other duties as assigned. The Operating and Facility Assistant reports directly to the ESC Manager and Administrator.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate, previous work experience in a surgery center or hospital preferred. BLS certification preferred or obtained within six (6) months of date of hire. Basic computer skill or willingness to learn.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include intermittent physical mobility/activity including the ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day. Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position. Intermittent physical mobility/activity including moderate-to-heavy lifting, pulling, or pushing of carts, equipment, etc.
