The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Technical Content Developer and Facilitator to join our LGE Business Solution, North American Training Academy team. This effective educator will develop and administer impactful training content and programs for LG’s Information Display and IT Business Solutions, and deliver them in-person, virtually, and on-demand to LG sales/support teams, sales channel partners, specifiers, alliance partners, and end-users.
The ideal candidate has a perfect blend of creative and technical aptitude, is familiar with audio-visual and IT technologies, grasps technical product specifications, and excels at simplifying complex topics into comprehensible training content.

What You Will Do
- Develop educational journeys, accredited courses, and certification programs for LG solutions for both internal and external audience
- Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Technical Sales departments to ensure training programs and content accurately reflect LG products, standards and best practices, and align with new product introductions
- Collaborate with the Global Training Academy team members at LG headquarters (South Korea) and other regions to align on training objectives, curriculum, and expectations
- Regularly use creativity to produce, publish, and promote new training content in various formats including PowerPoints, videos, and AI generated animations
- Participate in establishing and managing an engaging Learning Management System (LMS) that motivates and rewards individuals/companies for learning about LG solutions, and attaining certifications
- Direct the preparation of training sessions (in-person and virtual) including facilitating registrations, planning curriculum, managing hardware and software set-up, ordering materials, and evaluating attendees
- As needed, present training content at LG facilities across the United States, events, and partner venues (some international travel may be required)
- Take pride in maintaining and optimizing training equipment and training facilities (primary Training Center based in Lincolnshire, IL)
- Up to 25% travel.
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years related experience or Associate’s degree with 7 years related experience.
- 2 or more years of experience creating training curriculum/content
- 2 or more years of technology industry experience (AV or IT)
- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) Certification a Plus - AVIXA
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint and proficient in other MS Office applications, online meeting platforms (e.g. MS Teams, Webex, Zoom)
- Experience with video production/editing and Generative AI a plus.
- Understanding of Information Display and IT technologies (knowledge of LG solutions a plus)
- Strong facilitation & presentations skills and deliver training in an engaging fashion.
