LHH is Hiring a Part time Office Assistant Near Washington, DC

Job Description: Part-Time Office Assistant

  • Hours: 24 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
  • Hours: 8:30am-5pm
  • Duration: 3 months with possible extension
  • Pay: $21-$23 per hour

Role Overview:

LHH is currently partnering with a nonprofit organization in the Washington, DC area looking to bring on a temporary part time Office Assistant. This role will support the daily operations at the front desk, ensure the conference room is set up and maintained, and manage office supplies. This is an ongoing role with the opportunity to make a significant impact on our team's efficiency and effectiveness.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily office operations
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Services Coordinator on front desk operations, including:
  • Telephone coverage
  • Greeting guests
  • Monitoring security cameras
  • Maintaining the front office
  • Maintain and oversee the cleanliness and functionality of conference rooms and common areas.
  • Set up and tear down conference rooms and common areas before and after meetings.
  • Track, maintain, and replenish office, pantry, and hospitality supplies and inventory.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Administration on facilities maintenance projects, including repairs and custodial services requests.
  • Provide general support services during meeting preparation, such as:
  • Catering coordination
  • Document assembly
  • Credential badge preparation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
