Auto Dealership Service Admin/Cashier
We are looking for an Automotive Cashier! Receives payment for service and parts transactions with other duties and plays a key role in maintaining or creating customer satisfaction. The associate must be a friendly, articulate, enthusiastic, and a self-motivated team player with outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude, and an excellent work ethic., we would prefer prior Automotive Dealership experience as well.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests on arrival and, helping with questions or concerns
- Reviewing customer invoice to ensure everything is correctly listed
- Tendering payments by cash or credit for repairs, parts, and other services
- Clerical duties receiving inventory, transfers, supplies, and misc. data entry
- Assists service and parts department with telephone coverage.
- Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to parts and service departments.
- Works with department manager to keep abreast of new products and services offered, their features and value, and any changes in price.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Keeps work area neat and clean.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have cash handling experience.
- Automotive knowledge helpful.
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction
- Attentive to detail
