Custodial Maintenance- Part Time 25 hours per week
Salary Range: $14.00-$20.16 per hour (dependent on prior experience)
This position is responsible for the day-to day cleanliness of the facility at 1058 E Main St and 123 S 3rd St to ensure the buildings are tidy, clean and well-maintained for our clients and customers.
Essential Duties:
· Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring.
· Clean and sanitize bathrooms daily.
· Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
· Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
· Empty all trash cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as necessary.
· Cleaning windowsills and windows.
· Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
· Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition, alerting Operations Director when any equipment needs to be re-ordered or replaced.
· Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals.
· Always Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.
· Restock the vending machine.
· Operating buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums to ensure proper floor care.
· Setting up rooms for activities and events.
· Closing the building and ensuring doors and gates are locked and the system is armed.
· General maintenance of grounds includes snow removal.
· Perform other related duties as needed or as assigned.
Requirements
- Prefer high school graduate or equivalent.
- Be able to relate to elderly, have effective communication and customer service skills, be able to follow oral and written instructions, prioritize tasks, work effectively with a team.
- Must have knowledge of janitorial and light maintenance responsibilities and be able to work without constant supervision.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and the ability to climb ladders.
- May require standing for more than one hour, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, reaching above your head
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and urine drug screen.

Maintain predictable and regular attendance, work stated hours, communicate, comprehend, and follow policies and procedures, and develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff. Must be able to perform all job responsibilities satisfactorily and meet the same job title’s physical requirements. All employees must possess and maintain a Valid Ohio Driver’s License and the minimum auto insurance coverage for Ohio (must be able to provide proof upon request).
