LifeConnections is a behavioral health care provider with residential programs all across Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. We primarily serve adults with developmental disabilities and complex mental health conditions.
Position: Part Time Community Based DSP (Direct Support Professional)
Compensation: $18.00/Hour, plus $15/day for transportation!
Location: Belfast, ME Region
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12pm-4pm.
Hours: Part Time, 20 Hrs/Week
Client Description:
We are seeking a community-based DSP to work with an individual in the Belfast area. Support will be 1:1. We are looking for someone who is very active and highly motivated, strong communication skills with the ability to offer positive encouragement and redirection are necessary to support this individual. Reliable transportation is a must! This individual (Female mid 40's) thrives on consistent, routine-based, daily activities. During her community supports, she enjoys going shopping, exploring the community, going to the library, bowling, volunteering with animal shelters and working on her educational activities. Knowledge of diabetes management would be a plus.

Hiring Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license required & 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks
- Vehicle insurance (required to transport clients in your vehicle)
