Job Location: Umatilla, OR
Salary Range: $22.71 - $22.71 Hourly
Description
$3,000 new hire bonus (full-time staff), or $1,500 new hire bonus (part-time staff)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)
- Provide a variety of case management, skills training, support services as required for persons with developmental disabilities, severe and persistent mental illness, and chemical dependency
- Connect clients with community resources (i.e. housing, food stamps, insurance, social security, etc.)
- Advocate for benefits on behalf of client
- Provide a variety of life skills training to clientele
- Ability to operate office equipment (computer, copy machine, scanner, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure
- Maintain standards of confidentiality of Lifeways’ clients and records
Qualifications
Required:
- BA degree in social work, behavioral health, or related field
- Two years of experience with individuals with severe or persistent mental illness, or alcohol and drug dependency
- Or a combination of education and related work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Appropriate state licensure
- Successful completion of background check
Preferred:
- Bilingual/multilingual
- Experience with electronic medical records and telemedicine
