Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated lnfant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with children in a positive manner. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with children aged infants to toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting learning through play.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education principles.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Engage children in activities that promote language development, social skills, and emotional growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and ensuring their comfort.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment for children with disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Skills in behavior management and classroom management techniques.
- Experience in toddler care and infant care is highly desirable.
- First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- A nurturing attitude with the ability to connect with young children on their level.
- A background in babysitting or similar childcare roles is beneficial.
