Linder Turf & Tractor is committed to putting our customers first. Our parent company has been selling and servicing equipment since 1953. In 2018, we began our turf and tractor division, and since then, we've grown to 7 Kubota/Deutz Fahr branches in 3 states.
This is a remote position.
Position Overview: The Agriculture Equipment Sales Specialist is a key role focused on expanding and managing the customer base for Deutz-Fahr tractors and agricultural implements. This position is responsible for driving sales, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction through effective communication, product knowledge, and problem-solving.
*$100K first-year potential earnings*
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Sales: Identify new sales prospects and assess how Deutz-Fahr’s products can meet their needs.
- Presentations: Showcase the benefits of Deutz-Fahr products to potential customers, highlighting their features and advantages.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the full line of products, including their features, benefits, and updates.
- Market Awareness: Monitor and analyze competitive products and activities within the territory. Stay up to date with market trends and communicate relevant information to management.
- Financing Options: Keep current with available financing options and assist customers in understanding these options.
- Data Management: Document customer interactions and new contracts accurately. Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities.
- Customer Relations: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Issue Resolution: Work to resolve technical and customer issues efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, exhibits, and demonstrations.
- Product Monitoring: Keep track of new product developments from both Deutz-Fahr and competitors, providing feedback to management as necessary.
- Territory Management: Report any significant changes in the territory that could impact the company’s success.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure that equipment is delivered as ordered and in a timely manner.
- Credit Management: Collaborate with the Credit Manager to resolve any credit or payment issues effectively.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience: Must have agricultural sales experience with equipment sales preferred.
