Lingo Staffing is now hiring a Handyman in the Orlando, FL area to start ASAP!

Handyman – Responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks on the facility's infrastructure, equipment, and furniture, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general upkeep, essentially ensuring the warehouse operates smoothly by fixing minor issues as they arise. May involve tasks like replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, repairing minor electrical problems, assembling furniture, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the warehouse space.

Pay rate: $17.00 Hourly

Scheduled:

Monday – Friday: 1:00PM – 9:30PM
Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Job Requirements & Duties:

Perform electrical repairs in community areas, including lights and laundry.
Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
Complete general building cleaning and maintenance.
Install and replace floors, stairs, and piping as needed.
Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roof,s and other parts of the building.
Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility.
Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.
Ability to safely use common power and hand tools
HVAC knowledge and repair skills
Experience installing and replacing plumbing systems
Strong communication skills with property management and tenants
Self-starter with good time management skills
Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Reliable transportation.
Flexible schedule.
