Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Support individuals in maintaining a clean and organized living environment
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors
- Encourage socialization and participation in community activities
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their safety and well-being
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

- Previous experience in direct support, patient care, or caregiving roles is preferred
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is a plus
- Experience in social work or behavior management is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary

*This position provides and additional $2.00 per hour weekend shift differential plus may include an additional $1.00 per hour depending on location.
