What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef de Cuisine position at Little Miss Mao?
Little Miss Mao on Gallatin Pike in East Nashville seeks a full time CDC.
Little Miss Mao is a new chef driven food concept located inside of Skinny Dennis Bar & Live Music Venue. It is led by chef & owner Sophina Uong of Mister Mao in New Orleans.
This position will act as the CDC for Little Miss Mao's food service. This position requires weekend and late night availability. Food will be served until 1:00am. Applicant must have reliable transportation as some duties will require errands away from the venue. Must be willing to travel to and from New Orleans.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) management of food safety protocols, product control, consistent execution of recipes, upholding cleanliness standards, scheduling, hiring, ordering, and catering management. Knowledge of South East Asian, Mexican, or Indian cuisine strongly preferred. Candidate must be prepared for a high volume, fast paced work environment, and have experience in expediting and consistent recipe production. Positive mindset and willingness to collaborate with FOH & BOH team required.
Compensation is $65,000-$70,000 BOE plus full coverage of health insurance.
